At Coco's Tacos, we believe food is more than just nourishment—it's a way to

share stories, traditions, and passion. Our journey began with Alin Aranda, a

native of Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, whose dream was to bring the authentic

flavors of her homeland to life. Cooking has always been her passion and hobby,

and the opportunity to create a space where others could enjoy her signature

sazón was a lifelong ambition.

Three years ago, fate presented her with the chance to take over a small

restaurant on the brink of closure. With unwavering determination, resilience, and

the support of a dedicated team, Alin transformed that humble spot into one of

Peoria's most beloved destinations for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Recognizing the restaurant’s growing success and the need to build a brand that

reflected her vision and passion, Alin made the decision to rebrand her

establishment as Coco's Tacos. This new name symbolizes the heart and soul of

her business—a place where family, flavor, and authenticity come together in

every dish.

Today, in 2025, thanks to the love and loyalty of our community, Coco's Tacos is

proud to expand to a second location at 312 Main St., Peoria, while continuing to

serve the flavors that started it all at our original spot at 2626 N. Sheridan Rd.

From classic tacos and burritos to indulgent desserts like tres leches and

chocoflan, every dish is crafted with care and love. But the real showstoppers?

Our house specialties, "La Pizza Birria" and the irresistible "Quesabirrias," which

have earned us a special place in the hearts (and taste buds) of our customers.
